TheOldAPI provides a single API across a curated selection of top AI models. No pay-as-you-go, just a simple $7/mo subscription.
We provide API-based inference across leading text models — some with image-input (vision) support — through one OpenAI-compatible API.
Google's flagship models with a massive context window, image-input support, and top-tier reasoning.
OpenAI's GPT series with massive coding improvements.
Anthropic's most intelligent models for building agents and coding.
There are many reasons to choose us, but here are some of the most important ones.
Drop-in replacement. Works with any OpenAI SDK, LangChain, or HTTP client. Just change your base URL.
Direct provider connections with connection pooling and minimal routing overhead.
If one backend goes down, we automatically route your request to the next available provider.
Supports common features such as streaming, tool/function calling, and image input (vision) where available from the selected model/provider.
GPT-5.3, Claude Opus, Gemini Pro, Grok, DeepSeek, and many more — all from one API.
Native support for both OpenAI and Anthropic message formats via /v1/messages.
Browse supported model routes. Filter by provider or search by name. Model availability, routing, and behavior may vary — listed names are routing labels and may not guarantee access to a specific provider or version.
Loading models...
No pay-as-you-go. No hidden fees. Includes 50M adjusted tokens per day, resetting daily.
Full access with a 50M adjusted-token daily limit
For teams with high-volume needs
You get 50M adjusted tokens per day, resetting at midnight UTC. Each real token counts against this budget by a model multiplier — cheaper models count close to 1x, while premium models count for more, so they draw down your daily budget faster. Every model's current multiplier is shown as a cost badge on the Models page. Only tokens you actually use (input + output) are counted, and you can mix models freely.
The 50M adjusted-token allowance resets daily, so there's no pay-as-you-go and no overage charges. If you hit the daily limit, requests pause until the next midnight-UTC reset. Your live usage is always shown on your dashboard.
Yes! Point your OpenAI SDK base URL to our API and it works instantly.
Absolutely. Cancel anytime and retain access until the end of your billing period.

By accessing or using TheOldAPI ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
TheOldAPI provides a unified API gateway for accessing various AI language models through an OpenAI-compatible interface. The Service aggregates multiple AI providers into a single endpoint.
You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree not to:
Paid plans are billed monthly. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. All sales are final and non-refundable — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
API keys are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for securing your keys. If you believe your key has been compromised, rotate it immediately from your dashboard. We are not liable for unauthorized use of compromised keys.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service depends on third-party AI providers whose availability is outside our control. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers.
The Service is a routing and aggregation layer that directs requests to a variety of independent third-party providers, networks, and systems. We make no representation or warranty that any particular model, model version, capability, feature, or endpoint will be available, functional, accurate, or fit for any purpose at any given time.
Model names, labels, and descriptions shown on the Service are identifiers used by our routing layer to help you select an option, and do not constitute a guarantee, representation, or warranty that any request will be served by, correspond to, or produce results identical to any specific underlying system, provider, version, configuration, or weighting. To optimize availability, performance, and continuity, the Service may at our sole discretion route, re-route, substitute, aggregate, or fall back between different providers or systems for any request, at any time and without notice. Results, behavior, and quality may therefore vary between requests, providers, and over time.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that any model or option offered through the Service:
The continued availability, identity, or behavior of any specific model or option is not guaranteed and does not form part of any commitment, contract, or warranty. Your subscription grants access to the Service as a whole, not to any individual model, provider, or underlying system, and no refund, credit, or compensation is owed if a model becomes unavailable, is removed, is substituted, or ceases to function. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, interruption, or inconvenience arising from the unavailability, removal, substitution, or malfunction of any model or option.
The Service routes requests to and relies upon third-party providers, networks, and infrastructure. We do not control and are not responsible for the acts, omissions, policies, pricing, terms, content filtering, data handling, or availability of any third-party provider. Your use of the Service may also be subject to the terms and acceptable-use policies of those upstream providers, and we may enforce such policies at our discretion.
TheOldAPI (also referred to as "TheOldLLM") is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Meta, Mistral AI, DeepSeek, Alibaba, Moonshot AI, Cohere, Microsoft, or any other model provider, company, or organization.
All product names, model names, logos, brands, trademarks, and registered trademarks referenced on this website, in our documentation, on our Discord, or anywhere within the Service are the property of their respective owners. They are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes to indicate the third-party systems a request may be routed to, and such use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship by the respective trademark holders. Any reference to a third party or its products is for compatibility and identification only and does not constitute a partnership, authorization, or approval.
All information, text, statistics, figures, model names, model descriptions, pricing, documentation, code samples, benchmarks, claims, and other content made available on this website, in our documentation, on our Discord server, in any chat, announcement, ticket, direct message, or community channel, in any marketing or promotional material, or in any communication from us or our representatives (collectively, "Content"), is provided for general informational purposes only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or wrong, and is subject to change or removal at any time without notice.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Nothing on the website, on Discord, or in any communication constitutes legal, financial, technical, medical, professional, or other advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on any Content or output.
You use the Service, all models, and all Content entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for evaluating, and bear all risks associated with, your use of the Service and any output, including any decisions or actions taken based on such output. You agree that we are not responsible for any consequences, losses, damages, or harm resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, any model, any Content, or any output.
You retain ownership of all content you submit through the API. We do not store, log, or train on your prompts or completions. Requests are proxied directly to the upstream provider and responses are streamed back to you. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring it complies with all applicable laws and third-party terms.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL MODELS, OUTPUTS, AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY MODEL WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE AVAILABLE, OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL THEOLDAPI, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THIRTY (30) DAYS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) SEVEN U.S. DOLLARS ($7.00).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TheOldAPI and its operators, affiliates, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or third-party right.
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice and with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections relating to disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, outages, third-party provider failures, network or infrastructure failures, governmental action, or changes imposed by upstream providers.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to Section 25 (Dispute Resolution), you agree that the exclusive venue for any claim not subject to arbitration shall be the state and federal courts located in the State of New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
All sales are final and non-refundable, as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you believe a charge is in error, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve it directly before you initiate any chargeback or payment dispute.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting any non-waivable rights you may have, you agree that we may evaluate, contest, and decline disputes, claims, or refund requests in our reasonable discretion, and that our determination of any refund request made directly to us shall be final. Where you have a chargeback or dispute right under the rules of your card network, bank, or payment processor, or under applicable consumer-protection law, nothing in these Terms is intended to waive that right; however, you agree to contact us first and to act in good faith.
We reserve the right to respond to and contest any chargeback or dispute using these Terms and your acceptance of them as evidence, and to suspend or terminate accounts associated with chargebacks initiated in bad faith or in breach of the good-faith requirement above, and to recover related fees and costs to the extent permitted by law.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all registration information you provide is accurate. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules in connection with your use of the Service, including data protection, intellectual property, and content laws. You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any jurisdiction subject to applicable embargoes or sanctions, and that you are not on any restricted-party or denied-persons list. You agree not to use or export the Service in violation of any applicable export-control or sanctions laws.
Some models, endpoints, or features may be offered on an experimental, preview, "beta," or "early-access" basis. Such features are provided as-is, may be incomplete, unstable, or removed at any time, and are excluded from any service expectation, commitment, or warranty. Your use of such features is entirely at your own risk.
If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or recommendations regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sublicensable license to use, modify, and exploit such Feedback for any purpose without any obligation or compensation to you.
Informal resolution first: before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
Binding arbitration: to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration shall be seated in the State of New York (or conducted by telephone/video where available), and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
Jury-trial and class-action waiver: you and TheOldAPI each waive any right to a jury trial and any right to bring or participate in a class action, collective action, consolidated action, or representative proceeding. Disputes must be brought solely in your individual capacity. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim shall be severed and heard in court, but the remainder of this section shall remain in effect.
30-day opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] with your account email and the statement "I opt out of arbitration" within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
Where binding arbitration or the class-action waiver is prohibited by applicable law (including for certain consumers), this section applies only to the maximum extent permitted, and any non-arbitrable dispute shall proceed in the courts identified in Section 19. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may freely assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction. These Terms bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including via email, the Service, or our Discord, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Notices to us should be sent via the contact methods listed below.
No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary, or employment relationship between you and us. There are no third-party beneficiaries to these Terms.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TheOldAPI regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For questions about these Terms, email [email protected] or reach out on our Discord server.
